Matthew Beaky
Physics, Truman State University
Level: IntroductoryAll physics majors should consider participating in summer research at some point during their time at Truman. Not only does it offer the possibility to become involved in an exciting project and help you clarify your goals and interests, but it is entirely possible to get paid to do research!
This presentation will provide an overview of the variety of summer research opportunities available to physics undergrads, both on and off campus. You will learn how to identify opportunities, how to submit a competitive application, and how to decide between the many offers you will receive.
